Not all sculptures are unique pieces. Bernard Rives’s work includes both unique pieces and limited, numbered editions, depending on the creation.

For limited editions, each example forms part of a restricted series and is identified within that edition.

All original works are supplied with a corresponding certificate of authenticity signed by Bernard Rives, documenting the authorship and characteristics of the work.

Bernard Rives works with different materials according to the characteristics and format of each work. The principal materials include bronze, resin and fiberglass, along with other materials and finishes that vary from one creation to another.

Bronze sculptures are made using the traditional lost-wax casting process, with polished or patinated finishes depending on the work. Resin and fiberglass allow the artist to develop lighter forms, different finishes and larger-format sculptures.

Each request is assessed individually by Bernard Rives and his team to determine feasibility, taking into account aspects such as the concept, dimensions, materials, finish and intended installation site.

Once the project has been assessed, we will provide information about the possibilities, estimated timing and corresponding budget.

Works made to the buyer’s particular specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

This gives the collector documentation confirming the origin and authenticity of the work.

Yes. We ship to Spain, countries throughout the European Union and numerous international destinations.

Each work is prepared with professional packaging and transport is arranged on an insured basis to protect it throughout its journey.

Shipments outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, taxes or import charges imposed by the destination country. Where applicable, these charges are not included in the price of the work or in shipping costs.

Yes. You can request a private visit to Bernard Rives’s studio in Barcelona, by prior appointment and subject to availability.

For online purchases made by private consumers, you have 14 calendar days from receipt of the work to exercise the right of withdrawal, except in cases excluded by law.

As a general rule, the right of return applies to:

• Existing and available sculptures.
• Works belonging to a limited edition that have already been produced.
• Standard-design sculptures produced after the order is placed, provided that they have not been made to the buyer’s particular specifications and are not clearly personalised.

The right of withdrawal may not apply to:

• Works made specifically according to the buyer’s particular instructions or specifications.
• Sculptures clearly personalised for the customer.

In these cases, the work may fall under the legal exception for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

Purchases made by companies or professionals

Where the purchase is made by a company or by a professional acting in the course of their business or professional activity, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply in the same way.
